The Sultanate of Oman has a pool of highly educated and experienced Indian Engineers, who are engaged in various developmental activities. A large part of them hail from the southern state of India, well known for its achievement of attaining 100% literacy rate and efficient skilled workforce. Most of these Engineers from Kerala had graduated from prestigious colleges spread around India. Since the spread of engineers were too large, it was very difficult to pool their collective knowledge, except for the occasional encounter at their workplace.
